Responsible for performing patient assessments patient management and select exam procedures in an outpatient diagnostic imaging environment under direct guidance and supervision of a Radiologist Responds to patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and processes while maintaining appropriate confidentiality about diagnosis Provides film library and clerical support for the department Principal Accountabilities n 1 Generates preliminary image report evaluations interventional studies and bone density exams for the supervising Radiologistn 2 Obtains and reviews accuracy of patients prescriptions prior to performing examsn 3 Provides courteous and professional fluoroscopy proceduresexams to all incoming patientsn 4 Completes all paperwork associated with technical proceduresn 5 Responds to Physicians questions and needs regarding patient proceduresn 6 Transports patients safely from one area of the hospital to another for diagnostic testing room transfers or other needsn 7 Performs other related duties as assigned
