Performs major and minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures by utilizing multiple craft skills for example, plumbing, electrical, carpentry,material handling equipment, food equipment. Inspects, operates, or tests facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Dismantles equipment,machines, or facilities to access and remove defective parts. Diagnoses problems utilizing blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.Utilizes hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment. Provides prompt response to emergency calls. Documents repair activities. Installselectrical panels, breakers, switches, outlets, lighting systems, and conduit. Uses heavy machinery.
Serves as a technical subject-matter expert and lead for electrical systems by analyzing complex electrical issues. Designs and plans solutions forlarge-scale repairs or modifications. Ensures all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes NEC. Serves as the primary point ofcontact for external electrical contractors and inspectors.
Provides mentorship and technical guidance to Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians and other Maintenance associates. Conducts training onproper electrical techniques, code requirements, and safety protocols including Arc Flash safety. Reviews work quality to ensure it meets Master level standards.
