When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.Reporting to the President of the BILH Medical Group, the Chief Medical Officer-Primary Care CMO-PC serves as the senior clinical leader for the BILHPC employed primary care physician and advanced practitioner enterprise across BILH system. The CMO-PC is accountable for clinical quality, safety, patient experience, workforce engagement, population health performance, and the operational and financial performance of BILH Primary Care BILHPC enterprise-wide. The CMO-PC serves as the primary care clinical voice in the Medical Group’s senior leadership team and as the key clinical partner to the CMO-Specialty Care, ensuring seamless care coordination, integrated referral pathways, and a cohesive physician culture across the full Medical Group. The role requires sustained collaboration with primary care leadership and clinical chiefs across BILH’s academic medical centers and community entities alike, ensuring consistent clinical standards, aligned incentives, and integrated strategy. The role carries explicit accountability for primary care physician and APP recruitment and retention, culture, clinical excellence, overall quality, compensation design and governance, panel and access optimization, and business development in support of network growth.The CMO-PC will maintain an active clinical practice 0.25 cFTE and board certification in a primary care specialty while serving as the principal clinical leader for the BILH Medical Group Primary Care enterprise. The CMO-PC will work in close partnership with the Chief Medical Officer-Specialty Care, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer of the BILH Medical Group.
