The ideal candidate is a licensed Physical Therapist PT who has successfully completed training with a certified lymphedema training course i.e. Klose Training, Norton Training etc. The position of CLT at our clinic includes evaluating and treating patients with lymphedema of the upper extremities, lower extremities, head/neck, breast and genitals. This includes guiding patients through Complete Decongestive Therapy CDT and working with the patient to establish their lymphedema maintenance program after treatment, including measuring for custom and ready-to-wear garments, developing appropriate home exercise programs, and assisting in the process of obtaining specialized equipment such as pneumatic compression pumps.
