Job DescriptionJob Position Title: Sr. Manager, Environmental Health & SafetyFunction: EHS Location: Columbus West Job Group/Grade: JG5 Position Summary: This position leads the Environmental, Health, and Safety EHS team at our large and complex manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall EHS program at the site, including creating and implementing strategic safety and EHS initiatives to foster and enhance our EHS culture. This role requires a strong technical EHS skillset to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. It includes participation on the Plant Leadership Team and managing a team of direct reports as well as the ability to lead and influence without direct authority. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.
