Responsible for working alongside physicians and nurses and facilitating advanced primary and specialty nursing services Provides patients with support through activities including but not limited to bathing services serving meals transportation administering medication and positioning Ensures patients and families have a positive experience by exhibiting alertness collaboration teamwork and a positive attitudennn Principal Accountabilities nnnn1 Supports nursing personnel in providing direct patient care and assists patients with daily activitiesnn2 Serves and collects food trays and provides betweenmeal nourishmentnn3 Changes bed linen runs errands and prepares and sterilizes treatment trays and suppliesnn4 Transports patients within the facility for consultations treatments tests or examinationsnn5 Measures and records patients vital signs such as temperature or pulse and provides basic treatmentnn6 Ensures a safe care environment for the patients and their familiesnn7 Performs continuous rounds and checkins throughout the shift to ensure patient and family needs are metnn8 Performs other related duties as assigned
