Job DescriptionLeads manufacturing operations during the assigned shift, providing guidance and mentorship to Line Supervisors while making key decisions on staffing, resource allocation, and issue partner concern. Drives safety, quality, productivity, and BD Excellence initiatives by ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards, continuous improvement practices, and company policies. Responsible for developing team performance, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a culture aligned with BD Values.Shift: B shift – 4:30pm-4:30amResponsibilities include, but are not limited, to: Coordinate resources and priorities within the shift. Make final decision on staffing of the entire shift. Promptly address any safety issues or incidents. Responsible for training plans within line for assigned shift. Daily touchpoints with line associates to support the Equipment Owner EO program. This includes but is not limited to Safety, Quality, AM defect tagging, 5S, CILTs, Centerlining, TPM, breakdowns, and top losses. Provide regular, timely, and specific feedback to associates. Ensure an open flow of communication exists between production associates and management. Represent concerns of production associates to management, as well as management concerns to production associates.
