Job DescriptionAbout the role:The position reports directly to the US Associate Director of Marketing. The product manager for U.S. marketing of Specimen Management SM will be responsible for all business functions related to the assigned SM portfolio in the United States including but not limited to: revenue growth, profitability, new product development, clinical affairs, regulatory compliance, sales support, pricing strategy, inventory management, contracts, forecasting, financial planning, customer service, and sales force effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership for SM assigned portfolio in the U.S. by working closely with internal teams such as manufacturing, quality assurance, research and development, technical service, clinical affairs, regulatory, finance, supply chain, sales operations, and other key stakeholders. Finds opportunities to increase revenues through strategic initiatives focused on both existing products and new product introductions. Manage the entire lifecycle of assigned products including defining target markets, establishing price points, developing promotional programs, managing inventory levels, implementing new product launches, and overseeing product obsolescence. Lead efforts to educate customers regarding the value proposition of BD SM assigned products.
