Grinder Operator Job Summary We are seeking a Grinder Operator to operate centerless grinding machines and support machining production while maintaining quality safety and productivity standards The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and be comfortable using precision measuring tools such as calipers micrometers and gauges Schedule Primary Shift 800 PM 430 AMTraining 630 AM 300 PM on 1st shift Responsibilities Operate and maintain centerless grinding machinesPerform wheel changes and make necessary machine adjustmentsInspect parts using precision measuring toolsIdentify defective parts and quality concernsMonitor production to help maintain equipment uptime and quality standardsFollow all safety quality and production proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork effectively as part of a team to meet production goals Qualifications Grinding or machining experience preferred12 years of manufacturing experienceExperience using calipers micrometers and gaugesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to follow work instructions and safety procedures Physical amp Work Requirements Ability to stand for 812 hours per day 5 days per weekAbility to frequently lift up to 35 poundsAbility to perform repetitive tasks in a fastpaced manufacturing environmentAbility to work planned and unplanned overtime as neededStrong commitment to safety quality and attendanceAbility to work effectively in a team environmentIND2
