Job DescriptionMolding Project Engineer Reports to the Manufacturing Unit Leader. Responsible for project ownership and support activities toward attainment of departmental and plant goals. Primary focus is on areas of molding project leadership, and project execution training and development. Secondary focus on mold/press processing/operations support. Required to handle multiple assignments of varying scope and complexity. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS o Project Leadership and Support:Ability to handle projects of a moderate to large scope requiring extensive coordination. May be required to handle several assignments project & process duties simultaneously.Responsible for coordinating activities between equipment vendors and plant functional departments on his/her assignments.As required within the scope of his/her duty, be responsible for all associated documentation, including the following: validations, molding procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, plant control process, spare parts listings, etc.Responsible for realization of budgeted cost reductions and productivity improvements.Supports molding capital improvement projects and execution activities. Provides recommendation for capital equipment or process modifications, and supports their physical installation, debugging and associated training of production personnel.Recommends vendors for commercial items and materials needed for a project.Accountable for spending capital or expense within approved limi
