Position Description Would you like to have a career with a collaborative diverse and dynamic mining company We have an exciting opportunity for you Our people division is growing and we are looking for a Senior SchedulerPlanner to join our Capital Projects team The successful candidate is responsible for the development maintenance and analysis of project schedules across assigned NGM Capital Projects The role produces integrated resourceloaded schedules from study through execution monitors progress against baselines analyzes variances and critical paths and provides schedule insight to support project decisionmaking and successful delivery At Nevada Gold Mines our vision is to be the worlds most valued gold mining business by finding developing and operating the best assets with the best people We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities Responsibilities Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with company health safety and environmental standards and applicable regulatory requirements including MSHA Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and detailed execution schedules using Primavera P6 aligned to the project work breakdown structure Build resource and costloaded schedules to support progress measurement and earned value management Establish and maintain schedule baselines manage baseline change control in line with project procedures Collect and validate progress data from engineering procurement and construction teams and contractors update schedules on a regular reporting cycle Perform critical path float and whatif analyses identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation and recovery plans Review and integrate contractor schedules assess contractor schedule submissions progress claims and extension of time requests Prepare schedule reports lookaheads Scurves and KPI dashboards for project and executive reporting Support interactive planning sessions constructability reviews and turnaroundshutdown planning as required Contribute schedule input to risk workshops contingency assessments and quantitative schedule risk analysis QSRA Ensure schedule quality consistency and compliance with project controls procedures and standards Mentor junior planners and support continuous improvement of planning practices Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Degree or diploma in Engineering Construction Management or a related field or equivalent experience required Minimum 810 years of planningscheduling experience on major mining or heavy industrial capital projects preferred Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 experience with schedule risk analysis tools eg Acumen FuseRisk Primavera Risk Analysis an advantage required Strong understanding of earned value management progress measurement and baseline control preferred Experience in both owners team and contractor environments preferred What We Can Offer You A comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical dental and vision plan with national provider networks a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution AND employer match paid time off companysponsored medical clinics company match share purchase program and much more Work in a dynamic collaborative progressive and highperforming team Endless opportunities to grow and learn with industry colleagues Access to a variety of career opportunities across the organization Nevada Gold Mines is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer Thank you for your application however only those selected for an interview will be contacted L1JB1
