Responsible for producing crosssection images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues Interprets a physicians scanning instructions administering contrast materials preparing and operating the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images Principal Accountabilities 1 Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam2 Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards ALARA3 Evaluates CT scans for technical quality4 Utilizes EPIC Radiant and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation5 Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector6 Performs other related duties as assigned
