The Opportunity McElhanney has an opportunity for a Survey Assistant to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB! This is a great opportunity for an individual that is looking to begin or develop their career in Surveying with a well-established Survey and Engineering Consultancy. Numerous projects are multiyear assignments and McElhanney has industry leading capabilities in Surveying, Scanning, RPAS/drone operations, Bathymetry, LiDAR and remote sensing, line locating and GIS, offering the opportunity to learn new, and apply existing skills on multidisciplinary projects. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required, as well as pre-site access testing as per client requirements. What You’ll Do Set-up and operate a range of survey equipment. Follow directives received from Field Supervisor or Party Chief to assist survey team and complete tasks.
