Working under the direction of a Development Manager, this role helps coordinate resource allocation, schedules, cost tracking, and technical adequacy to ensure projects are completed in a cost-effective and competitive manner. The Assistant Development Manager assists with the day-to-day execution of the business deal and helps ensure projects stay on time and within budgetary constraints, while building the skills and experience needed to progress toward a Development Manager role. In this role, an employee will be expected to develop and demonstrate proficiency regarding the essential functions of the job found below. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Support all aspects of the development process to help ensure timely, cost effective, and competitive results. Assist in coordinating key functions such as financial feasibility analysis, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations. Assist in establishing project objectives: Collaborate with the Development Manager, client, and management. Help develop the project proposal. Support the Atwell contractual relationship with the client: Assist in preparing documentation for contract negotiation and execution. Assist with invoicing and tracking of accounts receivable in accordance with the contract. Assist in establishing the project plan: Help determine timeframes, budgets, staffing, and project schedule. Support organization of the project team: Help assemble and coordinate Atwell team members, sub-contractors, vendors..
