delivery of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Working closely with Project Managers Superintendents Project Engineers subcontractors vendors clients architects and engineers you will help coordinate project activities and ensure work is completed safely on schedule within budget and in accordance with contract requirementsThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes excellent organizational skills and a willingness to take ownership and grow into increased project responsibility You will support project administration subcontractor and vendor coordination scheduling cost control change management RFIs submittals billing and closeout activities As your skills and experience develop you will have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of project activities and independently manage smaller projects with senior PMs providing guidance and supportKey Responsibilities You will support Project Managers in the planning coordination and execution of assigned construction projects with the opportunity to independently manage smaller projects as experience developsYou will coordinate and distribute current contract documents including drawings specifications general conditions alternates addenda ASIs and other project revisionsYou will manage RFIs submittals transmittals Potential Change Orders Change Orders and other project deliverables ensuring accurate tracking timely submission and distributionYou will assist with project budgets schedules of values cost tracking change requests progress billing and required supporting documentation including labor complianceYou will process and maintain subcontractor and owner commitment documents including contracts Subcontract Agreements Purchase Orders Work Orders and Change Orders in ProcoreYou will support project scheduling phasing and sequencing and monitor project performance to help maintain quality schedule budget and safety objectivesYou will prepare meeting minutes project correspondence and routine responses and communicate project updates and changes with Owners Architects Engineers subcontractors vendors and other stakeholdersYou will assist with contract interpretation conflict resolution claims avoidance and resolution of project issues escalating matters to the Project Manager when appropriateYou will coordinate with subcontractors vendors consultants and suppliers to obtain proposals contracts insurance invoices and other required documentationYou will conduct regular site visits and support oversight of selfperformed and subcontracted work including daily reporting and monitoring progress quality and safetyYou will maintain accurate project files directories records certifications Procore requirements asbuilt drawings and other project documentation incorporating approved RFIs ASIs and formal changesYou will coordinate project closeout including punch list completion and collection of asbuilts warranties OampM manuals project manuals and other required documentationRequirementsProfessional Skills Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture Building Science or a related field preferred3 years of experience in commercial construction preferably in a Project Engineer Assistant Project Manager or similar roleWorking knowledge of construction processes plans specifications drawings and technical documentationUnderstanding of construction means and methods across multiple tradesExperience with construction or project management software Procore experience preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and Google WorkspaceFamiliarity with construction scheduling and CPM scheduling conceptsWorking knowledge of project cost control change management billing and contract administrationKnowledge of quality health and safety standardsStrong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication
