Freight Administrator Pay 21002400 per hour based on experienceSchedule MondayFriday 800 AM430 PM Job Summary We are seeking a Freight Administrator with strong customer service skills and experience using Microsoft Excel to support outbound shipping operations This position will coordinate shipments prepare shipping documentation communicate with internal and external partners and help ensure orders are shipped accurately efficiently and costeffectively The ideal candidate is organized detailoriented comfortable working with computers and able to communicate professionally when handling shipping questions exceptions and timesensitive requests Logistics or freight administration experience is a plus but not required Responsibilities Manage carrier change requests and coordinate updates as neededSchedule quote and route truckload and expedited shipmentsEnsure shipments are routed in the most costeffective manner while following established shipping guidelinesProcess unrouteable orders including Criticality 1 shipments for the US Canada Mexico and international destinationsPrepare shipping documents including Bills of Lading Shippers Letter of Instructions SLIs Commercial Invoices and related paperworkIdentify and resolve shipping documentation issues and missed shipmentsRespond to and follow up on daily inquiries related to carrier changes expedited and mustship requests exceptions and shipment trackingMaintain accurate information and data within freight management systemsCommunicate and collaborate with internal departments carriers customers and other external stakeholdersProvide professional customer service while resolving shippingrelated questions and issuesEnsure shipment information is accurate and up to date Qualifications Strong customer service experienceMicrosoft Excel experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quicklyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environmentAbility to communicate professionally with customers carriers and internal teamsLogistics transportation freight or shipping administration experience is a plusPrevious experience preparing shipping documentation is a plus Schedule amp Pay MondayFriday800 AM430 PM21002400 per hour based on experienceIND2
