The Opportunity Black & Veatch is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Systems team and function as a Project Discipline Engineer PDE specific to Industrial Water projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead a design team comprised of Mechanical Systems engineers on water and wastewater treatment facilities for a variety of Industrial Water clients. Work collaboratively with various design engineering execution teams across the US and abroad. Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical engineering activities for Industrial Water including water and wastewater treatment, reuse, desalination, and utility infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle. Integrate with a well-established Mechanical Systems team comprised of subject matter experts with extensive experience across a wide range of mechanical equipment and systems. Play a key role in the continued growth and expansion of Black & Veatch's Industrial Water business. Work for an employee-owned firm. Candidates are expected to possess demonstrated experience in the planning, design, specification, procurement, and construction support of mechanical systems for industrial water and wastewater facilities.
