Posse Deputies provide law-enforcement support under the direct supervision of a Sheriff's Office employee. A Colorado POST Reserve Academy and on-the-job field training are provided by the Sheriffs Office for qualified candidates. Upon completion of all training, a Posse Deputy must be able to perform ALL of the essential job functions listed below, unassisted, and at a pace or level of performance consistent with the actual job performance requirements.
