Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center is looking for a skilled and fully licensed per diem SpeechLanguage Pathologist CCCSLP to join our team to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with speech language cognitivecommunication and swallowing disorders in an acute care hospital setting The SLP collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes Conduct evaluations and assessments for speech language voice fluency and swallowing disorders Responsibilities include Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals Provide direct therapy services to patients across the lifespan including infants children adults and geriatric populations Educate patients families and healthcare staff on communication strategies and swallowing precautions Document evaluations treatment plans progress notes and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record EMR Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with physicians nurses and other rehabilitation professionals Maintain compliance with hospital policies ASHA standards and state licensure requirements Modified Barium Swallow Assessments Other activitiesresponsibilities as determined by department manager
