Job DescriptionPurposeBD UCC is establishing Industrial Designer capability for user-centered product design across its platforms. This role bridges aesthetics, ergonomics, usability, and engineering feasibility to deliver products that are intuitive, differentiated, and manufacturable. This individual will embed industrial design best practices into the product development lifecycle — from early-stage innovation through new product development.Key ResponsibilitiesIndustrial Design Leadership: Serve as the industrial design subject matter expert across all four UCC platforms. Establish and spread best practices, design standards, and a cohesive UCC design language.User Research: Plan and conduct generative user research to understand needs, workflows, use environments, and unmet opportunities. Synthesize insights from observation, interviews, and usability feedback to inform design direction and customer requirements.User-Centered Concept Development and Visualization: Lead concept generation from user and market insights.
