This role supports both direct patient care and unit coordination activities in a hospital setting. The NA I assists with activities of daily living, monitors and documents patient information, maintains a safe and clean environment, and helps ensure patient comfort and well-being. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with daily care needs such as bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation. Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, blood glucose readings with training, and other patient information. Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition to the RN/LPN. Assist with admissions, discharges, patient transportation, and specimen collection. Support providers and nurses during examinations and procedures. Maintain patient rooms, stock supplies, and ensure equipment is available and functioning properly. Follow infection prevention, safety, and patient privacy standards.
