Job DescriptionJob Group/Grade: JG2 Position Summary: Perform preventative maintenance, repairs troubleshooting, and improvement projects on department injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment in accordance with safety and GMP procedures. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values. Duties/Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects on department injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment in accordance with safety and GMP procedures. Perform troubleshooting and repairs on injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment. Perform preventative maintenance PM's on injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment. Maintain parts inventory Support engineering projects-ordering and installation of new equipment, new equipment IQ's. Continuous Improvement projects to reduce expenses, improve reliability, and reduce waste. Perform troubleshooting, diagnose causes, and repair equipment as required. Test electronic circuits to locate defects and understand the use of oscilloscopes, signal generators, amp meters, and voltmeters. Install, modify and understand control panel wiring.
