The Opportunity We’re looking for Geomatics / Survey graduates or early‑career professionals who want to be outdoors, on active project sites, and learning by doing. As part of McElhanney’s Geomatics team in Edmonton, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across field and office environments, working on real projects alongside experienced professionals. We anticipate this role will start around May/Summer 2026, with some flexibility depending on the successful candidate’s availability and project needs. You’ll be exposed to a wide range of surveying and geomatics work, supporting municipal infrastructure, transportation, utilities, and resource‑related projects. This is a field‑heavy, physically active role that suits people who enjoy variety, travel, and responsibility early in their career.
