McElhanney Women in Geomatics Scholarship In recognition of the contributions of women across McElhanney, this scholarship is designed to inspire and support the next generation of women pursuing careers in surveying/geomatics, mapping, geospatial, and fieldwork. We are committed to increasing representation within these professions and creating opportunities for women to build rewarding careers in an industry that shapes communities and infrastructure. The ideal candidate identifies as a woman, has demonstrated strong leadership within their community, is currently enrolled in an accredited baccalaureate or graduate program in geomatics or Geographic Information Systems GIS and remote sensing-related programs, and has a passion for a career in a geomatics or geospatial discipline that applies to McElhanney.
