Job DescriptionThe Process Safety Specialist is responsible for the administration of the High Hazard and Process Safety Management programs for the El Paso, TX manufacturing site. Conducts/Leads process safety hazard analysis/hazard and operability studies PHA/HAZOP for applicable processes and any future process changes. Responsible to ensure compliance with all OSHA PSM regulations for BD facility programs. Additionally conducts hazard reviews for all process controls, projects, and any process changes for El Paso, TX site. Ensures compliance with all local, state, federal, and country regulations as well as corporate standards. Collaborates with all local management leadership and associates to enhance, develop and sponsor programs intended to implement and promote the continuing safety of the El Paso, TX location with a focus on high hazard operations and compliance.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for development, execution, and oversight of Process Safety Management programs classified as working with High Hazards such as flammable materials. Track and report on key performance indicators leading and lagging to track the progress of BD High Hazard/PSM program and engage site operations leaders on safety matters to ensure a strong culture of associate safety. Conducts technical reviews and determines impacts for process changes, capital projects, new product development, and equipment modifications for facilities and operations.Domain expert for the OSHA Process Safety
