As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in planning, designing, and optimizing industrial processes and systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions for both greenfield and brownfield projects. This position offers opportunities to work directly with clients, contribute to technically challenging projects, and support the continued growth of Olsson's Industrial practice. Primary Responsibilities Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), process design and control narratives, and equipment specifications. Perform process engineering calculations, including mass balances, energy balances, hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing. Design and evaluate industrial process systems including pumping, piping, heat transfer, utility systems, chemical feed systems, and material handling processes. Prepare technical reports, studies, cost estimates, and engineering documentation. Coordinate with mechanical, piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and control system engineers to deliver integrated project solutions. Support facility planning, process optimization, debottlenecking, and operational improvement initiatives. Participate in process hazard reviews, safety evaluations, and risk assessments. Assist with project planning, scope development, scheduling, budget management, and resource coordination.
