Arcadis is the worlds leading company delivering sustainable design engineering and consultancy solutions for natural and built assetsWe are more than 34000 people in over 30 countries dedicated toimproving quality of life Everyone has an important role to play With the power of many curious minds together we can solve the worlds most complex challenges and deliver more impact together Role description Arcadis is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Architect to join our Education team This is a handson delivery role for a qualified architect who can independently lead and coordinate projects manage daytoday design and technical delivery and act as the primary architectural lead within a multidisciplinary teamThe successful candidate will have proven experience delivering education projects and will be capable of running projects from briefing and concept design through technical delivery and construction They will balance design quality technical excellence stakeholder engagement and project management to achieve successful outcomes for clients Role accountabilities Act as Project Architect and lead the daytoday delivery of education projects ensuring successful outcomes across all RIBA stages Manage project programmes deliverables resources budgets and performance to meet project objectives and deadlines Develop coordinate and oversee design information across multidisciplinary consultant teams Prepare review and present design proposals technical reports presentations and project documentation Lead BIM and digital design coordination ensuring highquality and integrated project outputs Manage planning applications Building Regulations submissions and other statutory approval processes Produce and oversee detailed technical design packages suitable for tender construction and project delivery Ensure compliance with Building Regulations the Building Safety Act and relevant educationsector standards and guidance Build and maintain strong relationships with clients end users and stakeholders leading workshops meetings and design presentations Coordinate and mentor project teams support junior staff development contribute to technical reviews knowledge sharing and business development activities Qualifications Experience ARBregistered Architect with RIBA Chartered Membership or working towards chartered status Significant postqualification experience within a UK architectural practice environment Proven experience acting as a Project Architect and leading projects as a Job Runner Demonstrable experience delivering educationsector projects including schools colleges and universities Strong knowledge and application of the RIBA Plan of Work across all project stages Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams and managing project stakeholders Strong technical design detailing and project delivery capabilities Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows including digital design coordination Excellent communication presentation client relationship and stakeholder management skills Understanding of DfEfunded projects educationsector design guidance Building Safety Act requirements framework environments MMC sustainability and lowcarbon design principles combined with strong project leadership collaboration commercial awareness and problemsolving skills Why ArcadisWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best We believe everyones contribution matters Its why we are pioneering a skillsbased approach where you can harness your unique experience and expertise to carve your career path and maximize the impact we can make togetherYoull do meaningful work and no matter what role youll be helping to deliver sustainable solutions for a more prosperous planet Make your mark on your career your colleagues your clients your life and the world around youTogether we can create a lasting legacyJoin Arcadis Create a LegacyOur Commitment to Equality Diversity Inclusion BelongingWe want you to be able to bring your best self to work every day which is why we take equality and inclusion seriously and hold ourselves to account for our actions Our ambition is to be an employer of choice and provide a great place to work for all our people We believe that by working together diverse people with different experiences develop the most innovative ideas Equality diversity and inclusion is at the heart of how we improve quality of life and we work closely with our people across six EDI Workstreams Age Disability Faith Gender LGBT and Race A diverse and skilled workforce is essential to our success
