Your Opportunity nStantec is seeking a Transportation Alternative Project Deliver Leader for Florida By managing capital programs and projects as if they were our own our project management business and technical experts work with clients to strategize plan and implement projects that help them achieve their organizations objectives Our awardwinning team has managed thousands of projects across all sectorsairports transit and rail ports and marine highway and bridge including complex bridges interchanges and managed toll projectsnThe successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of transportation design build projects across Florida for large and midsize Transportation projects May manage technical employees work planning technical design management and oversight project delivery quality management contract administration change management and risk management This position can be based in any Florida office locationn Your Key Responsibilities nn Lead multidisciplinary teams on major alternative project delivery APD projects from positioning to proposals planning studies feasibility through final designs and construction servicesn Be the key person and point of contact performing design deputy design or quality manager roles on major APD projectsn Represent Stantec and the project design team as a technical leader on major APD projectsn Identify appropriate resources and skill sets to achieve project objectives Manage contract tasks track and manage costs and schedule and implement measures necessary to stay on schedule and within budgetn Contribute to initiatives to help advance our project design operations and business development for Florida Transportation APD workn Coordinate to support APD projects across the South region on asneeded basisn Work in a manner to protect the health and safety of Stantec employees clients and the public by following company health safety and security guidelines and policiesn Maintain and enhance our reputation with clients approval agencies and industry professionals as an outstanding service providern Establish project objectives procedures and performance standardsn Lead by example with active support of internal policies and practices including risk management project management and quality managementn Grow internal and external networks to enhance Stantec reputation and identify additional talent to join our teamn Develop Client relationships to facilitate project activitiesn Establish maintain and promote partnerships with contractors and consultants in project pursuitsnn
