Your Opportunity nThe role of a Water Resources EIT is to work on smaller projects and as a team member of larger projects under the close guidance and supervision of a senior engineerdesigner You should be able to evaluate select specify and engineer systems or products for a project You will perform a variety of tasks which may include calculations field work coordination of simple tasks and meeting attendance and recording The smaller projects that an entry level civil engineer may be assigned to will have relatively few complex features In general a Water Resources EIT will assist more senior engineersdesigners by performing the routine aspects of civil engineering assignmentsn Your Key Responsibilities nn Use knowledge of general concepts of relevant civil engineering elements including system hydraulics surveying and topographic mapping geotechnical considerations grading utility investigations and analysesn Assist in creation of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and accompanying geospatial datan Assist team in preparing civil designs drawings specifications presentations and reportsn Conduct basic calculations and performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned and under the supervision of a project engineern May perform field work related to pilot andor construction related activitiesn Assists in supporting the civil team in providing support services during construction that can include submittal reviews responses to requests for information and contract document clarificationsn Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assignedn
