Your Opportunity nOur Buildings Government Services team is looking for an Electrical Designer You will work with close guidance and supervision on project tasks and as a team member of larger projects under the guidance of a Senior EngineerDesigner You will assist in evaluating selecting specifying and engineering electrical power lighting fire alarm and other low voltage systems and products for projects verifying compliance with applicable codes and internal engineering standards practices You will perform a variety of tasks which may include Revit and AutoCAD design engineering calculations and field workn Your Key Responsibilities n Note many of these responsibilities will be learning on the job as opposed to expectations starting the job nn Conducts basic interpretations of drawings codes and other similar materialsn Creates electrical design documentation for the electrical discipline using knowledge of relevant software programs such as Revit and AutoCADn Performs engineering calculations to analyze and design individual building electrical system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer softwaren Works with architectural interior designers and other engineering disciplines in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer designern Performs field work as directed by a senior engineer designern Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexityn Assists with collecting data and gathering information to support design decisionsn Performs other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staffn
