Stantec Buildings is on a mission to become the worlds leading integrated design practice Our architects engineers interior designers sustainability specialists and technologists are passionate about the power of design We take an innovative collaborative approach to projects sharing a common belief that sustainable design for the built environment can make the world a better place for future generations Join us and design your place with Stantecn Your Opportunity nOur Windsor ON office is looking for a highly motivated Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our growing multidisciplinary team Responsibilities include the design of electrical systems including power distribution essential and life safety systems lighting power system studies construction administration preparing proposals and working closely with team members project managers internal and external clients contractors and suppliers If you are an excellent communicator and skilled problemsolver with strong attention to detail then we have a dynamic work environment where you can play a pivotal role in a diverse range of buildings projectsnn Your Key Responsibilities nn Accountable for assistingleading with overall project electrical design prioritizing quality while meeting deliverable deadlines monitoring project scope and adhering to project budgetsn Assist in leading project coordination meetings with internal team members andor external consultants owner and contractor subcontractors and vendorsn ParticipateLead client project requirement meetings value analysis and cost estimatingn Support lead technical sections of assigned proposal pursuitsn Develop and manage project scope budget design approach staffing and schedule for projects of varying sizes and complexities in coordination with the project managern Evaluate select specify and design applicable electrical engineered systems or products required for the project ranging from 120V to 44kVn Support lead the development of electrical design deliverables such as single line drawings elementary and wiring diagrams equipment specifications including transformers MCC Motor Control Center switchgear substation equipment power plans conduit plans cable schedules system studies and protective relay settingsn Support lead in the development of designs through sketches electronic models diagrams and other visual formats including 3D design toolsn Coordinate across engineering disciplines within the project team to facilitate development of deliverablesn Lead contribute to the preparation and coordination of the project specifications with construction support documentsn Contribute to our culture of continuous improvement by sharing lessons learnedn Local travel within the National Capital Region for site inspections and client meetingsn
