n Arcadis is the worlds leading company delivering sustainable design engineering and consultancy solutions for natural and built assetsnnn We are more than 34000 people in over 30 countries dedicated to improving quality of life Everyone has an important role to play With the power of many curious minds together we can solve the worlds most complex challenges and deliver more impact togethernnn Role descriptionnnn Arcadis is growing its renewables capability across Australia and is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer or Designer to support our expanding renewable energy pipeline This is an opportunity to help shape meaningful energy transition projects while supporting the growth of our renewables offeringnnn nnn Role accountabilitiesnnn Prepare utility scale solar farm design using advanced PV modelling software such as PV Case or Helios 3D n Support projects through the full project lifecycle including feasibility studies concept design development support owners engineering and detailed designn Prepare engineering deliverables including drawings design reports cable sizing calculations n Working with the team prepare complete package for the appropriate project design submission stage n Apply engineering knowledge techniques tools and compliance with codes and standards to deliver designsn Taking responsibility for the preparation of detailed engineering documentation and leading the engineering effort for project including providing technical and performance oversight for members of the teamn Manage selected projects project taskresponsibilities as assigned andor design processes or parts of projects to meet agreed budget quality and timeframe targetsn Conduct internal review and quality checks of engineering models calculations and other deliverables to ensure compliance with the projects requirements and delivering the fully documented package to meet Client objectives and Arcadis quality system requirementsn Leading interdisciplinary coordination as required for the projectn Leading technical issue resolution processesn Liaise with other disciplines and ensure all requirements are understoodn Understanding scope and change in scope when it arisesnnn nnn Qualifications Experiencennn 7 years engineering design experience in renewable energy projects with 2 years in PV designn 2 years experience using PVCase Helios 3D andor PVSyst solar design softwaren Experience working with CAD softwares Cymcap ETAP Revitn Experienced in preparing engineering design packages including design drawings engineering reports datasheets MTO BOM Layouts Schematics and other documents n Experience with the codes and standards relevant to solar energy sectorn Bachelor Diploma in electrical engineering or civil engineering from recognized institutionn Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Englishn Excellent mathematical skills applied in engineering calculationsn Ability to provide innovative solutions to technical problemsnn
