Working in close partnership with attending physicians, you will manage comprehensive clinical data, order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory studies, perform therapeutic procedures, and coordinate professional consultations to optimize patient outcomes. Job Duties & Responsibilities Promote and maintain high standards of patient care throughout the continuum of cancer diagnosis. Elicit detailed and accurate patient histories and perform through physical examinations. Order appropriate diagnostic imaging and tests to determine medical and post treatment diagnoses, patient conditions, treatment toxicities. Formulate appropriate treatment plans with critical thinking skills and high-level clinical judgement including prescribing appropriate medications. Chart patient progress maintaining detailed and accurate health records Participate in clinical research projects and understand the importance of documentation of toxicities and data collection. Communication among multi-disciplinary teams to support patient care. Collaborating, supporting and building strong relationships with supervising, back-up supervising physicians, APP colleagues, and team members.
