Job DescriptionThe BD Excellence Staff Engineer is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and support functions. This role drives the deployment and sustainability of the BD Excellence Management System by utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, problem-solving methodologies, and operational excellence tools to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.This position serves as a change agent, coach, and facilitator, partnering with site leadership and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, eliminate waste, standardize processes, and drive a culture of continuous improvement aligned with BD's strategic objectives.BD Excellence DeploymentLead and support implementation of BD Excellence strategies, standards, and best practices across the site.Facilitate BDEX maturity assessments and support action plans to close identified gaps.Promote a continuous improvement culture throughout all levels of the organization.Support the integration of BDEX principles into daily management systems.Continuous Improvement LeadershipLead Kaizen events, Rapid Improvement Workshops, Value Stream Mapping activities, and Lean projects.Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and operational performance.Facilitate cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.Drive waste elimination efforts focused on safety, quality, inv
