We are hiring for this role on behalf of our clientRole OverviewThe Government Affair and Legal Officer plays a key role in driving the companyss commercial growth by identifying developing and managing strategic partnerships that can accelerate market entry generate new business opportunities and strengthen the companyss mobility ecosystem in VietnamThis role is primarily responsible for business development and partnership expansion including initiating and managing potential strategic business partners in the areas of fleetplatformtransportationlogistics ecosystem collaboration and other strategic growth opportunities that support the companyss citybycity sustainable expansion planIn addition the role will provide strong support in government engagement regulatory coordination and license permit enablement to help remove external barriers to business growth This includes engaging relevant government authorities and stakeholders to support relevant license and permit application approvals and compliancerelated matters required for the companyss business operations and expansionThe role therefore requires a commercially minded individual who can both originate and develop new business opportunities and navigate the external stakeholder environment to help the companys execute efficiently in a rapidly evolving green mobility and electrification landscapeKey Responsibilities1 Government Engagement amp External Stakeholder SupportSupport the development and execution of the companyss government engagement approach at central and local levels in alignment with business prioritiesBuild maintain and strengthen constructive relationships with relevant government agencies regulatory bodies public sector stakeholders utilities industry and international organizations and stateowned enterprises where relevantAct as a key coordination point for engagement with respective authorities related to business development priorities such as licenses permits and regulatory mattersSupport regular communication and engagement with relevant government departments to improve alignment visibility and support the companyss business expansion plansRepresent or support the companys in meetings working sessions briefings and discussions with government stakeholders and external authorities as needed2 License Permit amp Regulatory Approval EnablementLead the coordination and followup of required business licenses permits and government approvals necessary for the companyss operations pilot projects commercial launch and future expansionTrack regulatory approval requirements and closely follow up relevant license application submission relevant to the business implementation and expansion to ensure timely submission followup and permit obtainWork with internal teams legal advisors consultants and government stakeholders to help resolve permitlicense approval bottlenecks and regulatory issues affecting business implementation progressMaintain visibility of critical permit and approval timelines dependencies and risks that may impact the companyss business expansion plansSupport internal planning by highlighting approval risks and proposing mitigation actions where needed3 Support relevant Legal Aspects and Compliance for Business ImplementationnbspSupport with drafting reviewing and editing Commercial Agreements NDAs and other Definitive Agreements with Strategic Partners and VendorsConduct and update legal research on relevant Business regulations and laws and industry standards to provide relevant business advice for legal compliance and commercial agreement developmentnbspSupport in the Agreement negotiation process with key strategic partners and vendors when requirednbspHelp resolve small claims disputes or support litigation preparationnbspWork with internal teams legal advisors and consultants on relevant legal aspects related to business implementation and expansionnbsp4 Regulatory Monitoring amp Policy SupportWork with the legal advisor and consultant to monitor and interpret relevant regulations decrees circulars and local implementation requirements in Vietnam especially in areas related tonbspEV emobility battery swapping infrastructure electrification electricity connection land use public land lease construction installation approvals environmental safety and operational complianceProvide timely updates to internal stakeholders on regulatory developments that may affect partnerships expansion investment plans or operating requirementsSupport assessment of how policy developments may create risks or unlock opportunities for the companyss commercial growthHelp ensure the companyss business development initiatives remain aligned with evolving regulatory requirements5 Internal Coordination amp Stakeholder ManagementWork closely with the companys leadership and crossfunctional teams to ensure business development priorities are aligned with government engagement approvals and implementation plansCoordinate with Legal Op
