Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures. Observes and documents signs of wear and tear. Gathers capital expense information. Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors by completing and providing required written and electronic information for example, expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs. Conducts price comparison of parts and travel-related costs. Orders parts and replacement equipment and tracking orders. Records purchases and usage. Submits warranty claims. Complies with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines. Ensures quality work is completed that complies with federal, state, and local regulations. Ensures contractors follow Walmart quality standards, safety requirements, and meet contract requirements. Identifies and reports deficiencies. Unloads and stores equipment. Transports equipment between facilities.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports the company’s mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Uses the Open Door Policy.
Maintains company vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures. Coordinates and transports vehicles for required maintenance, ensuring beforehand that alternate driving support is arranged.
