This position will report in person to the Denver International Airport (DEN) on a daily basis. The Construction Manager assists in the construction of public and private Infrastructure projects for Aviation. This position will work alongside other Construction Managers, Design Engineers, Project Managers, Practice Leader, and Market directors for civil engineering projects for the Aviation Market. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located. What You Will Do: Increasing responsibilities to perform on-site construction management duties Good ability at analyzing and problem solving independently Evaluates, selects and applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria Applies an increased amount of professional judgment and discretion Document the on-site construction activities Must consistently apply Woolpert procedures Good Ability at performing quality control reviews and assists with quality assurance procedures within areas of expertise Manage the inspections of construction projects and materials for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and approved construction plans/specifications Ensuring inspections are completed according to contract protocols. Reviewing and interpreting construction documents, site drawings, as-built drawings, and specificationsCapable of resolving minor issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Communicate with contractors if test failures occur. Manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Produce daily and weekly reports Perform contract administration tasks Monitor contractor construction schedules Review Contracto..
