Responsible for the successful execution of incoming and outgoing shipments. Summary of Essential Job Functions & Duties: Responsible for preparing documents, such as work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials. Accurate and timely fulfilling of warehouse picklist orders. Responsible for moving materials using approved equipment pallet jacks, forklift, etc. Basic assembly support when required. Help to ensure effective communication of shipping status with all members of the team. Work with leadership to maintain relationships with carrier vendors and help to resolve customer issues. Inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments to rectify problems such as damage, shortages and non-conformance to specifications. Actively participate in shipping and receiving department staff meetings, discussions and initiatives. Represent the shipping and receiving department business-wide as necessary. Support department continuous improvement initiatives. Travel as required. Participate in ISO training and audits. Any other assignments as deemed appropriate.
