Job Summary The Lift and Rigging Engineer is a senior-level professional responsible for leading and overseeing complex lifting operations in the construction industry. This role demands extensive expertise, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of high-risk lift procedures. The engineer will mentor junior staff, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient lifting solutions. #LI-KC1 #liftengineer #riggingengineer #construction Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of complex and high-risk lifting operations. Develop and approve comprehensive lifting plans and method statements. Conduct site inspections and risk assessments for critical lifts. Ensure compliance with national and international safety standards e.g., OSHA, LOLER. Mentor and supervise Lifting Trainee, Level 1, and Level 2 Lifting professionals. Coordinate with project managers, crane operators, rigging teams, and subcontractors. Review and approve lifting equipment certifications and inspection records. Participate in lifting incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions. Contribute to the development of lifting procedures and stamp when required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering with current PE Professional Engineer license. Extensive experience in lifting and rigging operations, preferably in the construction industry. Proficient in lifting simulation software and CAD tools. In-depth knowledge of lifting codes, st
