Job Summary As a Supply Chain Intern, you will perform input for previously established procedures and/or systems, assist in establishing and/or maintaining a suppliers' list, preparing, issuing and receiving requests for quotation, and assist in evaluating quotations. The Procurement Intern will develop knowledge in the use of procurement department software, review and process purchasing documents, prepare/issue/maintain records of purchase orders, and may process approvals for supplier invoices and maintains necessary records.Key Responsibilities Perform input for previously established procedures and/or systems Implement firm's and department's Policies and Procedures Assist in establishing and/or maintaining a Suppliers' List Assist in preparing, issuing and receiving Requests For Quotation Assist in evaluating quotations Develop knowledge in the use of Procurement Department software Review and process purchasing documents Prepare/issue/maintain records of purchase orders Learning procurement process May process approvals for supplier invoices and maintains necessary records Preferred Qualifications Preferred bachelors or masters degree in Supply Chain or Procurement.
