Provides direction to key stakeholders with respect to financial management, resource prioritization and optimizing headcount. Leads effort to work with business partners to translate top-down targets to an accountable budget and to generate operational plans and strategy within their organization. Provides direction and actionable insights on the state of the business to key stakeholders to drive the business forward. Conceptualizes and designs new approaches and metrics to how relevant financial data is collected and evaluated to impact the broader organization and Microsoft's long-term goals. Partners with senior business and commercial leaders to drive performance and strategy to achieve the best return on investment ROI and shareholder return. Drives culture, inspires, and prioritizes team to pursue innovation. Understands the interconnections between data, information, and results and translates this into forward-looking narratives and forecasts. Leads customer and partners relationship management. Drives the right tone from executive leadership and ensures strict adherence and understanding of Microsoft policies on risk and compliance. Orchestrates comprehensive system of accounting policies, procedures and controls that span financial, non-financial disclosures, and accounting operations. In addition, this role has people management responsibilities including driving employee growth and development, executing projects, and managing performance.
