Job Location Duke University Hospital Job Summary We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Adult Electrophysiology EP unit at Duke University Hospital. The APP will work in collaboration with attending physicians and the EP care team to provide direct care to cardiology patients, with a primary focus on EP patients in the Cardiovascular Short Stay pre-procedural and post-procedural areas. The APP performs physical examinations, obtains procedural consent, collects and documents clinical data, conducts approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, and contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, and leadership. Primary hours are four 10-hour shifts per week for a 40-hour work week.
