This individual supports the safe handling, testing, and evaluation of energetic materials and propulsion systems — working across a broad range of technical disciplines including instrumentation, controls, mechanical systems, and production operations — under the direction of senior engineering personnel. The position reports to the Staff Development Engineer and is part of the Infrastructure and Operations Integration team, onsite at Voyager's Penrose and Pueblo, CO facilities. This role is well-suited for technically capable individuals with backgrounds in energetics, aerospace, defense manufacturing, or industrial test environments who bring hands-on discipline, safety-first mindset, and the adaptability to contribute across multiple technical areas as the team scales. In this role, the essential functions are: Energetic Materials Handling Safely receive, inspect, store, and handle energetic materials — including propellants, pyrotechnics, and similar materials — per applicable DoD/ATF regulations, SOPs, and facility safety requirements.
