This role is hybrid based in Pittsburgh, PA. ; In this role, the essential functions are: Leading the development of flight hardware avionics, including computing, signal conditioning, control electronics, filtering, data acquisition, and command & data handling (C&DH) Lead daily operations, scheduling, and tasking for the avionics team Providing technical and programmatic guidance to internal avionics team members (employees, subcontractors, consultants) and partner support personnel Establish review process for avionics engineering products prior to release and manufacturing Provide subject matter expertise in subsystem and vehicle phase-gate, milestone design reviews as independent reviewer Define internal work processes and standards for hardware design, circuit analysis, test execution, and result documentation. Drive rapid troubleshooting, failure investigation, and resolution of electrical anomalies during component testing, vehicle assembly, and environmental testing Contribute to avionics..
