The position reports to the Analysis and M&P Team Manager and is part of the Strategic Systems Division based in Folsom, CA. This role is a hybrid role with teammates located in Folsom, CA. Essential functions: Perform stress analysis of complex hardware systems utilizing both first principles concepts and FEA software, interpret and validate analysis results, and provide recommendations to improve product design. Perform structural dynamics of multibody systems to identify critical modes, assess the response of the structure when subjected to random vibration and shock loading, and provide recommendations to improve product design. Understand fundamentals of CFD and thermal analysis methods and techniques, and how to incorporate these physics models within structural analyses.
