The position reports to the Senior Director of Engineering and is part of the Engineering team based in Houston, TX. In this role, the essential functions are: Design & develop space-qualified electronics — including power systems, command and data handling, flight computers, sensors, and digital/analog circuits — encompassing full PCB design from schematic to fabrication files. Author and maintain technical documentation including assembly instructions, test procedures, interface requirements, and test and analysis reports. Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting using standard test and measurement equipment; perform and oversee qualification and acceptance testing on safety-critical flight hardware. Review payload designs and provide feedback to ensure compatibility and compliance with Voyager Space Exploration and NASA requirements. Support program execution by contributing to proposal efforts, documenting technical approaches, and delivering regular status updates to Engineering and Program/Project management.
