This role leads day to day operations at Voyager's black powder manufacturing facility, overseeing the safety, training, and performance of hourly production employees while ensuring schedules and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate pairs hands-on manufacturing experience with strong leadership skills to drive a safe, efficient, and continuously improving production environment. In this role, the essential functions are: Lead day to day production operations and activities, organizing labor, assigning tasks, and driving output to meet key performance indicator and the production schedule. Enforce safe work practices by ensuring team compliance with standard operating procedures and all safety, PPE, and material handling requirements. Provide hands on training and daily coaching to production employees on processes, equipment operation, and quality requirements. Ensure operators have the tools, materials, PPE, and equipment needed to safely and efficiently perform their work each day. Monitor production activities in real time, troubleshooting issues, resolving problems, and escalating larger or systemic concerns to the Plant Superintendent.
