Advanced Programs leads the company’s earliest stage work, from mission concept definition and long-term technology road mapping to hands on development of breakthrough technologies that will power our next generation of lunar landers, surface systems, and spacecraft. In this role, you will define end-to-end mission concepts for NASA, government, and commercial customers, directly influencing the technologies and architectures that will drive Astrobotic’s future lunar pursuits. This position is based out of Mojave, CA and is onsite. Job responsibilities: ; Develop program budgets and schedules for new concepts and designs of lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft. Support proposal content creation for mission opportunities and internal development programs. Contribute to programmatic topics such as schedules, resourcing, risks, and budgets estimations. Communicate with other engineering disciplines, partners, customers, and vendors to resolve technical risks and challenges. Build out bottoms up estimates, including bill of materials, cash flow models, and labor estimates. Occasionally participate in visits and technical interchange meetings with customers, supply chain, and partner organizations. Participate ..
