Basic measurement tools (such as calipers or gauges) may be used only on an occasional, as-needed basis. Documentation and record-keeping – Recording inspection results and non-conformance reports accurately, maintaining logs that support traceability and regulatory or customer requirements. Identifying and reporting defects – Flagging products or processes that fail to meet quality standards, tagging or segregating defective items, and communicating issues to supervisors or production teams so corrective action can be taken. Supporting quality control processes – Following standard operating procedures (SOPs), participating in audits, and helping implement corrective/preventive actions to reduce recurring defects. The position reports to the Quality Manager and is part of the Quality team based in Penrose, CO. This role is onsite in Penrose, CO.
