The position reports to the Structures, Analysis, and Mechanism Manager and is part of the Propulsion and Test Department based in Mojave, California. This role is onsite. Relocation assistance is provided for qualified candidates moving to Mojave, CA. In this role, the essential functions are:• Lead a team of mechanical engineers for primary/secondary structure and mechanisms• Coordinate day-to-day tasks across the team • Develop and ensure tools, methods, and best practices are followed• Review technical content, such as CAD drawings, analysis, and test reports meet standards • Create and execute test plans and document the results• Create designs, analysis and test plans• Manage vendors to procure components, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met • Present programmatic and technical content If your experience aligns with our basic qualifications and you are inspired by our mission, we’d like to connect.
